Huayra Tricolore
On the occasion of the 60th anniversary of the Frecce Tricolori, Pagani Automobili is pleased to present the Pagani Huayra Tricolore. Only three examples will be built as a tribute to the Italian Air Force Aerobatic Team.
Performance
The Huayra Tricolore is the ultimate expression of Pagani’s dedication to lightness, precision, and aeronautical inspiration. Developed to honor the Italian Air Force Aerobatic Team, its chassis is constructed from Carbo-Titanium HP62 G2 and Carbo-Triax HP62, offering exceptional rigidity while keeping weight to a minimum. The result is a hypercar that responds instantly to every input, with suspension geometry designed to channel its immense power while minimizing dive and roll. Electronically controlled active shock absorbers, fully integrated with the car’s active aerodynamics, continuously adapt to driving conditions, guaranteeing balance, grip, and stability at all times. Every detail has been engineered to translate aerodynamic principles into unmatched road performance.
Design
Inspired by the cockpit of the Aermacchi MB-339A P.A.N. jet, the Huayra Tricolore’s design is a fusion of aviation heritage and automotive artistry. From the exterior lines shaped by aerodynamic necessity to the interior that evokes the spirit of flight, it embodies Pagani’s philosophy of turning machines into works of art. The cockpit is adorned with aerospace-inspired materials and details, offering an immersive experience that recalls the elegance and precision of aviation instruments. Every stitch, surface, and component has been crafted to celebrate Italy’s aerobatic tradition while delivering the comfort, beauty, and refinement expected of a Pagani masterpiece.
Engine
Powering the Huayra Tricolore is the latest evolution of the Pagani V12, a 6.0-liter twin-turbo engine developed by Mercedes-AMG exclusively for Pagani. Producing 840 horsepower at 5,900 rpm and 1,100 Nm of torque between 2,000 and 5,600 rpm, it delivers relentless thrust across the rev range. This power is channeled through a seven-speed sequential gearbox with an electromechanical differential, a system 35% lighter than a dual-clutch transmission. Its transverse layout reduces polar inertia, sharpening agility and stability, while the ultra-light tri-disc clutch and racing-derived tripoid coupling ensure rapid, precise gear changes. Every component has been engineered to minimize friction and maximize response, transforming raw power into a seamless driving experience.
